Wine, dine and shred

14 - 16 September

This trip is going to the most sparsely populated region in France. Where mountainbiking is not a crime and mountainbikers are still rare breeds. The landscapes offer hills, gorges and plateaus to the volcano of Puy Marie. In addition to these landscapes we ride through the medieval villages of Roccamadour and Autoire. Most of the peaks are around 600m with the exception of the Puy the Marie with 1780m.

We stay in a hamlet with authentically restored ruins. The site is located on a southern slope in the secluded woods where our private trails start right from the garden. The dining is in French style with plenty of biologic and homemade vegetarian food.

We ride six out of seven days, with one day of rest. In between there is enough time to dive in the pool and get relaxed.

This trip is including 3 shuttle rides, so we can cover great distances and ride different types of landscapes.

What level of mountainbiking should I have?

Are you riding your mountainbike every other weekend and do you have a good basic condition? This is your trip if you like descends that get a little bit more spicy then you are used to in the flatlands. The single tracks that we will be riding this weekend will have a maximum grade of an s2 and for some of them you need a good concentration. We will be riding without any luggage shuttle, which means you will be riding with a pack between 4-8kg, depending on how minimalistic you are.

Downhill biking is a dangerous sport where you should be able to concentrate yourself and take advice from the coaches during the tours.
